Joshua B. Sternberg is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Member of Iron Ore Properties LLC and a Partner in Iron Ore Construction LLC. In this capacity, Mr. Sternberg has direct responsibility for the Company’s strategic planning, investment strategies and underwriting, financing and manages the execution of the Company’s Development Projects. Mr. Sternberg’s relevant experience in developing complex capital structures, relationships with lending institutions, working with local, state and federal representatives as well as his diverse history of real estate ventures that span all asset classes make him uniquely qualified to navigate the ever-changing real estate markets and to ultimately maximize value and returns for investors.
Prior to the creation of Iron Ore, Mr. Sternberg served as the Managing Director for the Fidelco Realty Group, a privately-owned investment group with both real estate and corporate assets, where he worked from 2009-2018. Mr. Sternberg’s primary responsibilities at Fidelco included acquisition, due diligence, financial evaluations, regulatory interaction, the development of business plans and comprehensive growth strategies, legal matters, environmental issues, construction management and property management. While with Fidelco, Mr. Sternberg directly managed the successful entitlement and development of thousands of residential units and over several million square feet of Class A office and industrial space. Key tenants and development partners have included, but are not limited to, Under Armour, Cablevision and Audible.com. Prior to joining Fidelco, Mr. Sternberg worked in a similar capacity at Roseland Property Company as Vice President of Development focusing primarily on acquisitions, land development, construction and infrastructure planning. While at Roseland, Mr. Sternberg managed many of its premier developments, including components of Port Imperial, a nationally recognized redevelopment project with over units and $2 billion in total revenue.
Mr. Sternberg began his career as an Environmental and Geotechnical consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area and then migrated into the realm of Real Estate Development while working as the Northern California Vice President of Land Development for Lennar Homes. He has BA and MS degrees in Geology and Geochemistry respectively from University of Georgia and continued his post graduate studies at University of California Davis and University of California Berkeley.
